By installing or using VisuaKit (the "App") through the Canva App Marketplace, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App immediately. These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you ("User") and VisuaKit ("we," "our," or "us").
VisuaKit provides a data-to-design automation toolkit integrated into the Canva platform. The App enables Users to import structured data and generate visual design assets within the Canva editor. Features vary based on your subscription plan as outlined in our Pricing section.
You must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid Canva account to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use at support@visuakit.com.
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through our payment processor, Paddle. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize recurring charges on your payment method. All prices are listed in USD and are exclusive of applicable taxes. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' written notice.
We want you to be fully satisfied with VisuaKit. If you are unhappy with your Pro subscription for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of your initial purchase or renewal date. Refund requests submitted after this period will not be honored, except where required by applicable law.
To request a refund, please contact us at support@visuakit.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include your Canva-registered email address and the date of purchase. Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Partial refunds for mid-cycle cancellations are not available.
Free plan usage is not eligible for any monetary refund as no payment is collected.
You agree not to: (a) reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; (b) use the App to produce content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes third-party intellectual property; (c) resell, sublicense, or redistribute the App or its outputs as a competing product; (d) attempt to circumvent usage limits, access controls, or billing mechanisms.
VisuaKit retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including its underlying technology, algorithms, and design templates. Design outputs generated by the App using your data are owned by you. You grant us a limited license to process your input data solely to provide the service.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VisuaKit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which VisuaKit is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

VisuaKit ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App, you consent to the practices described herein.
Account data: Your Canva user ID and email address, which are obtained via the Canva API upon installation of the App.
Input data: Files, spreadsheets, or JSON payloads you upload to generate designs. This data is processed in memory and is not stored beyond the duration of the active design session.
Usage data: Aggregated, anonymized information about feature usage, design types generated, and App performance metrics.
Payment data: Billing is handled entirely by Paddle. We do not store credit card numbers or sensitive payment details. We receive only a transaction reference and subscription status.
We use your information to: (a) provide, maintain, and improve the App; (b) process your subscription and send billing-related communications; (c) send transactional and product update emails; (d) respond to support inquiries; (e) detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We may share data with trusted service providers (Paddle for payments, cloud infrastructure providers) solely to the extent necessary to deliver the service. All sub-processors are contractually obligated to handle data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
Account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days following account closure. Input data (uploaded files) is deleted immediately after your design session ends. Aggregated analytics data is retained indefinitely in anonymized form.
The App itself operates within the Canva editor environment and does not set independent cookies. Our public marketing website may use first-party analytics cookies to understand traffic patterns. You can opt out of analytics via your browser settings or our cookie preference center.
If you are located outside of the country where our servers are hosted, your data may be transferred internationally. We apply appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses where required by law.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request erasure of your data; object to or restrict certain processing; and data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@visuakit.com.
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your Canva account.
The App is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will delete such information promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Your continued use of the App after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
